Our way, is design for feeling and use natural materials. Cycloop is intuitive and neutral, it simply invites people to play with wood indoors.
The touch and smell of wood brings comfort and calmness. The look of wooden patterns is the source of inspiration and dream. Cycloop is there to create calmly amusing atmosphere indoors.

Function
Cycloop spins by human touch and wind. The function is the play and interaction between person and wood.
There is no motor or technology which makes it spin endlessly. The Cycloop is like a fireplace for people indoors.
Materials
Cycloops are made out of handpicked birch plywood which comes from Lohja, Finland. Every Cycloop has a unique natural wood pattern.
The surface is covered with almond oil. It highlights the grain and makes the wood feel soft.
Japanese fishing line for hanging. Chosen for its strength and durability. We are actively researching organic alternatives to create a more natural solution.
Production
The Cycloop is produced 50% by human 50% by machine.
One Cycloop takes from 1,5 to 3 hours of handwork depending on the size.
The process is 6 phases: preparation of material, laser cutting, hand polishing, sewing, oiling and drying before packaging.
2 people, give attention to every detail. From choosing the best woods to hand polising edges of the Cycloop for the soft touch.
Science in design
In Spring 2025 Koje conducted a scientific study with PhD Doctor in neuroscience Susanne Kumpulainen. In office room setting, 51 participant was studied. Two situations: empty room and the room with spinned Cycloop. Participants' heart rate was measured and survey asked to understand if the Cycloop's design has positive physical and mental effects.
The results imply that Cycloop improves concentration, relaxes mind, makes people dream and bring the sense of community to groups of people.

Purpose
Appreciating people, nature and calm moments. We create opportunities to interact with wood in a playful and grounding way indoors.
We believe that natural materials and intuitiveness of design can ground people and calm the mind.
