Cycloop simply invites people to have wood indoors. The rest finds itself through interaction.

Function
Cycloop spins by human touch and wind.
There is no motor to make it spin endlessly.
The Cycloop is like a fireplace - calmly amusing.
Materials
Cycloop's cores are handpicked plywoods sourced in Finland. Each peace is a unique wood grain.
The surface is finished by almond oil. Oil makes the natural patterns glow and makes the Cycloop feel soft.
Japanese fishing line, for hanging. Chosen for its strength and durability. The line is guaranteed to lasts for years. We research about organic alternative.
Production
The Cycloop is produced 50% by human 50% by machine.
One takes from 1,5 to 3 hours of handwork depending on the size.
The process is 6 phases: preparation of material, laser cutting, hand polishing, sewing, oiling and drying before packaging.
2 people, give attention to every detail. From choosing the best woods, to hand polising the edges of the Cycloop for the soft touch.
Science in design
In Spring 2025 Koje conducted a scientific study with PhD Doctor in neuroscience Susanne Kumpulainen. In office room setting, 51 participants were studied. Two situations: empty room and the room with spinned Cycloop. Participants' heart rate was measured and a survey asked to understand if the Cycloop's design has positive physical and mental effects.
The results imply that Cycloop improves concentration, relaxes mind, makes people dream and bring the sense of community into the groups.

Purpose
